On Sunday 20th November Girlguiding Ayrshire South attended South Ayrshire Council’s Christmas Lights Switch On event; ‘Little Stars Light Up Ayr’, on the High Street.
Leaders and girls from across the county helped out by decorating and supervising Santa’s Grotto, as well as giving out goodies and information on their stall. Kids were also able to come and try a free craft and find out more about Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and Rangers.
South Ayrshire Council split all donations taken between Girlguiding Ayrshire South and the council’s chosen charity of the year.
