We are delighted to share that applications for the 2025 anniversary course of the NSGSO and NSGCB are now open. 🎼🎻🥁🎺
2025 marks the 50th course of the National Scout and Guide Symphony Orchestra and the 10th course of the National Scout and Guide Concert Band in its current format, and it will be the biggest course yet. The 2025 residential course will take place in Stourbridge at Old Swinford Hospital School and will culminate in two bumper concerts at Nottingham Albert Hall and Birmingham Symphony Hall, presenting a tribute to the collective 60 year history.
The course runs from Saturday 2nd August – Sunday 10th August 2025 and the closing date for applications is 9am on Sunday 1st December 2024.

The course is hosted by Birmingham Scout County in conjunction with Girlguiding Birmingham, but is open to applicants from across the UK who meet the selection criteria.

For anyone wishing to use this course for their DofE or QGA residential then this year must be the first time that they have attended.
