‘Hi, My name is Linsey Latter. My journey with Girlguiding has been a transformative one. From being an enthusiastic Brownie in my childhood to leading the 1st Troon Brownies unit for over five years!
Like many, I took a break from Girlguiding as an adult until my Daughter was of Brownie age. Little did I know that this return would lead me to meet so many incredible women and experience significant personal growth. When Elin asked if I would be willing to be ACC, I didn’t hesitate to say yes. Girlguiding has instilled in me the belief that girls can do anything, and I’m eagerly looking forward to this next adventure.’

‘My name is Sharon Adams and I am a Guide leader with 1st Girvan Guides. It started for me 15 years ago I went along to help at my niece’s Guide Unit… for a few weeks…. fast forward to now!
I was Carrick District Commissioner until Sept 2023 and also enjoyed a term as Growth Co-ordinator on the County Executive. I am really looking forward (but nervous) to be part of Elin’s new CC team!’

‘Hi I’m Elin, I can’t believe I’m the new County Commissioner. It is such an honour to be nominated. I’ve been a Brownie, Guide, Young Leader before becoming a Brown Owl 30 years ago. I’ve also tried Guides and Rainbow sections but Brownies is where I think my mental age is! I’ve been a District Commissioner, Leader in Training Co-ordinator and am the county GO co-ordinator so I’ve tried my hand at most things which I hope will help me in this role. If there is anything I can help you with to enjoy this adventure we are on, then just let me know. I’m around for a while yet, as I said many years ago that I will stop when I don’t find this enjoyable any more – and still having fun!’
